Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon

3 or 4 pours deep into the bottle. Really nice and robust. Nose has some berry, some char, oaky/cedar. Palette goes crazy. Blackberries, toasted marshmallows, black tea, apple cider and autumnal on the finish. Lovely stuff.

Light amber color. Aroma is slightly fruity with pear notes with a little sweet vanilla in the background. Sweet caramel hits you at first, then it transitions to a lightly smoky oak. Very nice mouth feel, very smooth. Some peppery notes on the finish. A touch of water is a step down, I actually I preferred it neat. Very nice, I liked it a lot.

Very drinkable, great match with the old fashioned syrup

Nose vanilla caramel brown sugar. Taste brown sugar syrup pepper char smoke. Oak finish. Classic bourbon taste.
