First impression the nose has a lot of vanilla with a nice oak presence, also a hint of cherry and green apple. The palate is sweet up front followed buy rye spice and charred oak. On second sip more sweet like Carmels and vanilla frosting, followed buy heavy barrel charred oak. This finish is medium with a nice slow burn, not to thick but makes your mouth water a little. Overall very good at the price, I still favor Old Forster 1910 for double oak pours.
