Tasting Notes
"The nose is bright and fairly intense with aromas of banana cake, caramel cream, cinnamon, vanilla, and pencil shavings. The body of the whiskey is average and not terribly plush, but it's filled with barrel spices. More tastes present buttered, cinnamon toast. Overall, it's more spicy than sweet and the malt brings a drier and hearty experience compared to traditional Jack Old No. 7. The finish is of average length, but it's fun to try and worth the moderate price point. "
