Nose - Corn syrup stewed cherries, strawberry hard candies, milk chocolate, stale/flat diet/splenda cherry vanilla coke.
Taste - Initially very thin, sweet cinnamon vanilla butterscotch, milk chocolate covered cherries, hint of salted caramel, light oaky bitterness that seems to be a cross of oak and orange pith.
Finish - Light cinnamon heat, lingering splenda-like diet cherry vanilla coke sweetness. More oaky bitterness that's now more like an unsalted peanut shell that accidently got burnt.

If you like wood in your bourbon, you will like this. Some days I think it is amazing, other days, it seems like the wood overwhelms it a bit. But, that is what makes this bourbon great. I wish I could give it 4 and a half stars, so I rounded up. I buy it whenever I can, if it is not marked up too much (less than $40, but harder and harder to find at this price). I like it better, overall, than Blanton's.
