Amazing on the nose. Thought the palate was slightly lacking. Wouldn't be worth the $160 I would have to pay in Rhode Island. Luckily only paid $35 for it in Antigua. Was one of the best $35 rums I've ever had. Would spend as much as $60 on a bottle.
Superior sipping rum from Antigua. Not to be mixed with anything, ice or a little water only.
Fruits, caramel and a little oak make this a treat.
Enjoy.
I bought this at the distillery on Antigua. I couldn't find out if the oak call had ever been used by beer brewers. Since they said bourbon and Tennessee casks I would assume not since bourbon requires virgin casks
