Espolòn Reposado Tequila

An intense, Agave Spirit by Campari Mexico, S.A. de C.V. [NOM1440] in Jalisco (Los Altos Southern), Mexico crafted with an Autoclave aged for at least 2 months in American oak barrels.. It has an aromatic birth with notes of cooked agave, earth, wood, fruit, flowers, herbs & spices; while a harsh life adds notes of tropical fruits, vanilla & grass; that led to a floral death of medium length with notes of oak, pepper, cinnamon & solvent.

Not as complex as I was hoping for, specially for a reposado tequila. Personally, I found the blanco tequila Tradicional version from Jose Cuervo is was more “agavy” and complex than this Espolon.
