Evan Williams Black Label

Based on reviews and incredible value I decided to give this a go. First was on the rocks and to be honest it did not blow me away. Certainly way better than Jack but still had a tinny-metallic nose and finish ( sour mash feature?). Just had a glass neat with a few drops and BAM! Now I know why Distiller gives this dram an 85. Factor in $15 a liter and you'd be a fool not to put this in your cabinet. And your belly.

My go to bourbon for mixing etc. Not a bad neat pour either. Char, Brown sugar, caramel flavors. Probably the best bourbon you can get for $13.00. By far.

Get's a bad rap because of where it sits on the shelf. Better than any bourbon at it's price-point, and definitely outshines it's very pricy doppelgänger from Tennessee.

Good for mixing, but not for sipping
