One of the most unique ryes I’ve tasted. A bit of cinnamon on the nose. For a rye, no overpowering spiciness. The mash bill in my view delivers a winner. The bang for the buck is double bonus!

Complex. Delicious. Spice on the tongue. Pepper on the nose. One of my favorite ryes to date.

What a well balanced bourbon. Does not have the tinny palate of Jack and Evan. Rock solid mouthfeel, sweet but not overly so. Great whiskey value.

Based on reviews and incredible value I decided to give this a go. First was on the rocks and to be honest it did not blow me away. Certainly way better than Jack but still had a tinny-metallic nose and finish ( sour mash feature?). Just had a glass neat with a few drops and BAM! Now I know why Distiller gives this dram an 85. Factor in $15 a liter and you'd be a fool not to put this in your cabinet. And your belly.

This bourbon punches above its weight. At $10 it's an incredible value. Skip buying Jack or Jim. It's more interesting, rock solid on, er, the rocks and a great cocktailer. Plus you'll have money left over for therapy lessons after realizing you've been throwing your money away on bigger names.

The best of the Islay's, this one packs an aromatic and flavorful punch. Meek should not apply.
