Evan Williams Black Label

I purchased many higher end bottles of bourbon before I bought a single bottle of Evan Williams Black. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how much flavor it offered for such a low price.

Oaky... standard bourbon

Nose: vanilla, caramel and cola. Taste: cinnamon, barrel spice and a hint of vanilla. Finish: very short finish on this. It’s almost like it will pass you by if you’re not looking for it. Light burn on the back end.

Carmel and grains on the nose. More grains in the taste. Some Carmel. Unnecessary burn on taste and finish. Likely best with a coke

Better than I thought it would be. It would be ok for making a lot Old fashions cheap.
