Nose: richness. Little leathery but nice citrus to it. Smells put together.
Palate: light and airy. Nutmeg savory flavor. There's a lightness to it but its also bold in flavor. Short finish. Little orange citrus with some creamy butter.
The mouth feel is super light and elegant and it just dances around.
This is my first time ever sipping an EW and wow, this is a steal for the price.
Deep amber in color. Aroma is pleasantly fruity with a hint of floral notes. Bites a bit more than I expected, but then hits with some citrus notes, lime most prominent, but without the sour. Some maple in the background with oak just peaking through. The finish is subtle, but the oak pushes its way to the forefront. Solid and drinkable, but not amazing.
I’ve been hearing a lot about this one lately. Looking forward to trying for the first time.
Nose: Immediately impressed with the nostril punch this brings @ such a low proof. Sweet vanilla, caramel, cinnamon, and ethanol.
Palate: Continuation of some vanilla and caramel. Cinnamon roll vibes are complimented by a coat of nuttiness that makes for a really solid mouthfeel. Yum.
Finish: Medium in length leaving warmth on the tongue and a moderate hug on the way down. Caramel and cinnamon leave a lasting impression.
In my humble opinion, this is twice the bourbon we had last night at less than half the cost. I’ll be getting a bottle of this for sure, especially at less than $30.
