Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage

Barreled on 9/4/13 Barrel No. 543 Bottled on 5/6/21 If I had to describe this bottle in 3 words, it would be "a smooth pour". Maybe that's because it's only 86.6 proof. I find that that doesn't compromise the taste at all though. E It's very easy on the palate and the finish, however I notice that it's kind of strong on the nose for an 86 proofer. Maybe it's just this particular barrel, but it really smells like a higher proof to me. Absolutely fantastic bottle of Bourbon.

Nose: caramel, just right oak, brown sugar Palate: oak, subtle grass, vanilla, nicely stronger than proof point Finish: moderate, surprisingly so good Definitely better than Early Times bib
