Evan Williams White Label Bottled in Bond Bourbon

Opened 3 weeks ago. 2nd pour neat in glencairn. A: amber copper; moderate legs N: warm bread, peanuts, cinnamon, pepper. Burns nostrils a little. P: roasted peanuts, pepper, oaky F: oak, vanilla & pepper with burn above 100 proof. Overall a bit harsh, but still imparts some good notes with heat if that’s your thing.

Off taste

Typical notes on the nose and palate. But I got a terrible bitter note on the back end that is reminiscent of ear wax (bitter). Tastes young, sour mash is not my flavor preference.
