Evan Williams White Label Bottled in Bond Bourbon

Post covid… Nose: vanilla and butterscotch. Also candy corn which I actually hate just throwin it out there. Palate: immediate beam funk. More candy corn. Sweet but more of an artificial sweet. Finish: short, thin, more candy corn for me. Can’t get that out of my head Overall: I know it’s bottom shelf but compared to other really good ones: virgin bourbon, early times…it doesn’t quite hit the mark. Maybe after opening up it will change my mind.

Nose is heavy on the spice with notes of vanilla and caramel. The taste is sweet and smooth. The finish lingers with some pepper, slight sweetness, and oak.
