Reviewed October 13, 2021 (edited January 3, 2022)Tried this neat and wasn’t impressed… too chemically on the nose and on the palette… but over ice… man, what a perfectly gentle and smooth drink. The ice tones down the spiky edges and you’re left with classic low proof bourbon perfect for a simple supper. It’s not going to blow your hair back, but it’s not going to be complicated or uncomfortable either. I was mad I spent $20 on a one-and-done bottle when I tried it neat, but delighted I have another great mixer to rival my favorite Rittenhouse in Manhattans and Old Fashioneds going forward.
