Glencairn, served neat
Light amber in appearance
Nose: brown sugar, vanilla, bit of cherry, southern style sweet tea
Palate: vanilla, hint of peanut, more sweet tea, some cinnamon underneath
Finish: medium length, soft, no hug, mild bitterness, cinnamon with a hint of Splenda
I like this, good classic bourbon, always available, great price, well done
T8ke scale: 6, a step above
Lots of orange creamsicle and hot alcohol that kind of burns the nose. The palate is full of cherry syrup and oak. Finishes hot with a mild burn. Really not bad for the price.

just beat J Magnus and McKenna 10 in a blind test. I'm shocked. it was close but for $16 that's impressive.
update: 2 weeks later. same bottle, same test. came in last lol! did 2 more blinds after that. it's definitely a step below the expensive stuff but this is my new Manhattan bourbon for this price!
