Filliers' range of Barrel Aged Genever aims to make quality genever accessible. Instead of focusing on the different types of genever (jonge, oude, etc.), Filliers chose to target age statements. The Filliers 12 Year Barrel Aged Genever consists of 100 percent maltwine made from malted barley, rye & corn. A small amount of juniper distillate is added after the aging process.

Tasting Notes

"Fresh and fruity at first, with notes of apple and banana, as well as a hint of chocolate, before progressing into a grainier, barnyard-y territory. The palate is quite sweet, with a hit of caramel, vanilla and cinnamon. There's just a whisper a juniper berries, accompanied by charred oak and orange peel."
