Smokey and peaty

The appearance is of clear tan, with uniform alcohol legs. The aroma is of mild smoke, peat, and honey. The taste evidences more smoke, with the honey or caramel and background compost pile peatiness. Finlaggan Old Reserve has a low-medium body and a moderately-long finish. RJT

Nose medium peat and a little salt Taste: smooth tangy smokey pear. Doesn't have a lot of depth but has a light sweet smokey after. $20 trader joe how can you beat the value though???

Peated but not too overwhelming

Wonderful smoky earthy smell, and subtlety sweet. Smoky taste with a mix of spice and brine. Overall a great whiskey for a great price
