First Call Double Oak Straight Bourbon Whiskey

An n intense, Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey by Master Distiller Kevin Curtis for IJW Whiskey Company crafted with more than 40 different mash bills; aged in new, charred American oak barrels 2X. It has an aromatic birth with notes of wood, fruit, grain & spice; while a rich & full life adds notes of vanilla & dried fruits; that led to a complex & slightly creamy death of medium length with notes of butterscotch & toasted oak. Nose is smokey, alcoholic. Strong oak, slightly bitter, light butterscoch

A little alcohol forward A little butter and sweetness followed by spice and some chemical taste

Not a ton of bite. Very smooth, this bourbon seems dangerous because i could drink a lot of it real fast

toasted green apples, oak, char, toasted marshmellow, cinnamon, pepper, cola, toasted corn, graham cracker, brown sugar.

Oaky, sweet, with peppery notes. Lot of heat once sip is over. Nice double oak for the price.
