First West Toasted Oak Bourbon

This is a smooth easy drinking whiskey. At this proof point you get nice caramel cream brûlée and toasted wheat notes. It is what you would expect from a toasted barrel whiskey

Very light almost toasted wheated nose. In your mouth it is very thin. Finish has a peppered oak spice finish. Got better the second pour. But seems young eventhough it is a 5-7 year blend. Was a bit of a let down since I really like the 15 stars their higher brand.
