Four Roses Limited Edition 50th Anniversary Small Batch Bourbon (2017)

Punchy but clean! My pallet is toast tonight but this is great!

Neat. Nose is spicy sweet vanilla butterscotch. Taste is spicy up front with a sweet mid turning into a long spicy sweet finish. I get notes of caramel, burnt sugar, vanilla and baking spices. I like it however it doesn’t live up to the hype for me personally. I’ve been chasing a taste for a long time now.

Vanilla for days on the nose. No ethanol burn. Cinnamon, raspberries, apples, finishes with a perfect, long-lasting warmth. Probably one of the best Four Roses you’ll ever try. A fitting tribute to Al.

Great flavor with a good amount of spice. Definitely hints of vanilla.
