2024 vintage. Decent amount of oak on the nose. Creamy with a lot more butterscotch/caramel and less fruit conpared to prior releases. Pleasant through and through. Fine at MSRP, not worth chasing.

Nose: chocolate and bug spray. Palate: spearmint and wet socks. Finish: like an oblivious house guest, lingers beyond its welcome.

Grain-forward nose with a hint of citrus. Palate is on the sweeter side, with a gentle cinnamon finish.

Nose: Apple, minty spice. Palate mostly oak and baking spice. Medium warning finish.

Nose is a standout. A somewhat odd combo of dark fruit and chocolate but also something buttery, like buttered popcorn almost? Palate and finish are disappointing. Thin and short, and don’t deliver nearly what the nose promises. This year’s release continues the trend of disappointment for the fourth straight year. Seek out 2019 or earlier.

A very moderated pour. Nose is pleasant - nothing stands out as bold, spicy, etc. - just pleasant and soft. Palate is true to the same character… baking sweetness is most prominent, vanilla and maple types of notes, but again it’s all very moderate. Finish is very short. Almost no one will hate this, but it is easily overshadowed by nearly any othet pour.

Bold and full. Dark cocoa, cherry, hint of vanilla, bright spice.

Bananas on the nose. On the palate… nothing. Literally. After I swallow and wait 2-3 seconds I get some dark fruit notes starting to blossom along some bitterness.

Chocolate mint. Pretty much that single note through and through. Simple but not unpleasant.
