Reviewed October 17, 2022 (edited December 7, 2022)Virginia ABC pick. 11 years 4 months. Rye spice and darker fruits on the nose. Palate is much different, with mint, herbal, and lighter chocolate notes. Some wood in there on the finish, likely due to time in the barrel. Good mouthfeel and viscosity. Overall, really enjoyed this. Was initially disappointed on the first couple sips, but was loving it by the end of the pour. -

Reviewed September 14, 2022 (edited November 16, 2022)Binnys Pick 9 years 7 months 59.4% Warehouse RS Barrel 71-3L Aroma - massive amounts of chocolate, melted butter, rye definitely up front as well. Really nice balance here. Figs and plums coming through. And getting a slight hint of bubble gum. Taste - Whoa. That is quite different than the nose. Leather, tobacco, black tea, oak. All really bold flavors. Vanilla bean comes through on the finish. Really enjoy the transition from the bold on the front and the massive sweetness on the finish. -
