Reviewed May 25, 2024 (edited May 27, 2024)[5.24.24] These bottles are still a bit ot a puzzle to me so I was glad to be able to taste another from someone's collection. Capped off a great night but nothing stacks against our Russell's. Minty. At first I thought it was a myth but as you swallow and the flavors start to clear, it becomes more apparent. This a julep whiskey if there was ever one made. Easy to drink but it has one clear purpose - Derby Day. -

Reviewed May 18, 2023 (edited May 19, 2023)This is an outstanding poor. I am a big fan of Elijah Craig barrel proof Releases, however, this really will beat most of then in blind tastings And I have done them. Not the easiest find but if you find one at MSRP around 85 or $90 pick it up every time. This particular offering which is one of their 10 offerings is outstanding. The high rye and floral notes really come through But not overpowering at all. It is extremely well balanced, and drinks lower than it’s 120 proof point this could stand up in most any blind, and do extremely well. I really have no strong criticisms of this. The only minor tick may be the finish is not quite as long, but that’s just nitpicking at this point.85.0 USD per Bottle
