Four Roses Single Barrel Bourbon

Toffee & Twizzler on the nose. Definitely get some Vanilla, too. Definitely oaky with a peppery/spicy finish. I drank a whole bottle of this ans I never loved it. I I don’t think the single barrel is for me.

OBSV SN 86-3J 57.7% Tobacco, leather, oak, cinnamon. Not very sweet and has a strange bitter, citrusy aftertaste.

OESV P5 58-5U 61.5% Maple, apple, anise. Quite spicy hot finish but also sweeter than some of the other recipes. Decent but I'm not blown away by any of these.

OBSF 71-1D 55.7% Very woody and earthy with a sweet caramel start and a short spicy finish. Nicely complex.

OESF 79-45 60.9% Quite spicy and not terribly smooth. Cinnamon, caramel, anise, woody oak. Probably my least favorite of these Four Roses single barrels so far.

OESQ 32-3J 58.2% ABV Caramel, honey, mint, leather, quite spicy. This is interesting and drinkable but just not very rich or flavorful in my opinion. All the flavors are mild and nothing really stands out.

OBSQ 51-30 58.6% Chocolate mint, pretty smooth for the proof.
