This rye whiskey has a very confident amber color, meaning thst its color would make other whiskeys jealous…..if they coild be jealous. Just looking at this rye makes you want to drink it. The nose? Its a one note with a lot of bravato. Its toffee, and the rye says “you gotta problem that? Yeah, I didn’t think so.” Sip this rye, and you’re hit with more toffee, a flirty oak vanilla combo, and a spicy rye kick that says, “Yeah, I’m good—whatcha gonna do about it.” My answer was to drink more of it. One of my favorite ryes of the year, especially for the price.

Caramel Bomb! Seriously. If you ever bought microwave caramel popcorn, opened the pouch of caramel before you put it into the bag of popcorn…then smelled and tasted that caramel….that is this bourbon. Damn. So good.

The whiskey opens with a rich and flavorful wave of mesquite smoke, followed by the distinctive spices of jerk barbeque. Don’t let the first part fool you. Theres Deep notes of vanilla and caramel that are so well intigrated. Oh….and a black peppery/spicy finish to boot! Good!!!

An intriguing balance of flavors, a little smoky and sweet wort are complemented by hints of peach cobbler, while secondary notes of oak, vanilla, and a touch of floral notes add depth

Good Canadian whiskey. Vanilla, caramel, and grain. Good mouth feel for 80 proof. Light and easy drinking. This good but far from great. DO NOT PAY MORE THAN MSRP, youll regret it. I did. There are MUCH better whiskies out there. Bottle is cool though…😏

Sweet, apricots,, vanilla, finishes like mild dried apricot. Lots of goodness. Would definitely get this again. Yum!

Wow. Sweet, complex, long coffee finish. One of my favorite whiskeys.

The nose on this is pretty awesome and made my mouth water (strawberry bubble gum, butterscotch, vanilla, and oak). When drinking, the bourbon hits your mouth with a pumch of sweetness and trastes just like it smells. Then….it QUICKLY devolves to minerals and a pithy medicinal finish (The rye??) thats not pleasent. This is an ambitious swing that cleared the wall … but went foul. If this company straightens it out, they can be heavy hitters 🤞🏼

Total Wine coupon buy. The employee said this bourbon has the same flavor profile as Eagle Rare. I would say thats a good description IF you go searching for the ER flavors. Its like comparing the flavor of a new piece of gum (ER) to that same flavor of gum that youve been chewing it for an hour. Sweet Juicy Fruit Gum upfront thats a little buttey with a short grain/grassy finish.
