Neat. Dark copper color. Nose is lots of oak, dark caramel/molasses, stone fruit, cherry, vanilla, tobacco, leather, cocoa, nuts, must, green herbs. Taste is intense, sweet, oak tannins, cocoa, vanilla, char, stone fruit, cherry, green herbs. Finish is long sweet, oaky, vanilla, cinnamon, char, mint
I'm a fan of Four Roses and this is another winner. This is the boldest of the standard release bourbons. It has the traditional pretty notes, but intensified with the higher proof and some extra age. Fans of the distillery would not be disappointed
