Fremont Mischief Vodka
Fremont Mischief // Washington, USA
Fremont Mischief Distilling is based out of Seattle, Washington. A forward-thinking company that believes in treating the environment and their suppliers with respect. They source grain from local farmers and use the spent grain as organic compost for farms and gardens. Their vodka is made from a mash of winter wheat. After distillation the spirit rests for 6-8 weeks before it is brought to bottling proof.
Unflavored VodkaDistilled from any agricultural product, most commonly grains or potatoes. Typically distilled to 95% ABV. Water is added to bring the spirit down to as low as 37.5% ABV in the EU and 40% ABV in the US. It is usually filtered, often with charcoal, prior to bottling. It is almost always clear and unaged.
"There’s an industrial aroma of hot rubber which is common in vodka but also a little whiff of cream of wheat. The best trait of the palate is its creamy texture. That said, even the mineral and vanilla flavors are evenly proportioned. This is for the vodka purists out there that enjoy having it neat or on ice."
