Van Hoo is made entirely from grains and distilled 5 times using column and alembic stills. The distillate is then subjected to a “special charcoal filtering” before being bottled at 40% ABV.
Unflavored VodkaDistilled from any agricultural product, most commonly grains or potatoes. Typically distilled to 95% ABV. Water is added to bring the spirit down to as low as 37.5% ABV in the EU and 40% ABV in the US. It is usually filtered, often with charcoal, prior to bottling. It is almost always clear and unaged.
"This is like a lot of vodka, in that it is stripped down and all about texture. There is almost no aroma, save the smell of ethanol. The palate has a touch of underripe banana, charcoal, and mineral water. The distinguishing factor is its viscous texture. Enjoy over lots of ice."
