Frey Ranch Straight Rye

Smells like butter. Woody, vanilla, warm. This is very good. Favorite so far (7/24) of the ‘23 flaviar advent.

Nose: chocolate, licorice, varnish, caramel corn Palate: baking spices, pepper, vanilla frosting, butter, molasses Finish: faint oak and baking spices With water this also develops a pastry-like quality. Not too shabby! (Flaviar Advent Calendar)

Clear copped body thin legging. Spicy earthy herbal, peppery aroma. Spicy pepper vanilla caramel flavor. Medium body moderate warming. 8/5/8/4/17 4.2

Vanilla, rye, and wood on the nose with a hint of ginger. The wood stays on the palate and mixes with caramel and black pepper spice. The finish is rich and long ending with raisins and more black pepper.
