Tasting Notes
"The nose is enticing with sweet maple, crispy chocolate chip cookies, and rich vanilla but there's also waxy corn, tobacco leaves, and lots of toasted oak. Without water, the bourbon is a bit tight and chewy with more grassy notes coming through and raw oak. Adding water helps to soften those tannins and brings more of the herbal component to the party. Average sweetness on the palate, not quite as dessert-like as the nose suggested. But that's not a bad thing. "
