George Dickel 11 Year Bottled in Bond Tennessee Whisky (Fall 2008)

Nose: Floral Clove Smoke Little bit of nuttiness Palate: Smooth and subtle with brown sugar notes Finish: Medium length with a stronger than expected brash bite at the very end and nutty notes lingering Not all that enjoyable compared to others available at the price point.

A touch of fruit, almost apple flavor with some spice. Very smooth with a single cube

Actually the 2009 batch. Nose of caramel, vanilla, oak, leather, hint of nutmeg, and maybe some smoke. Can take a deep inhale. Full bodied, comes in with a burst of heat that dissipates quickly. Caramel, vanilla, nutmeg, maybe some dried cherry. Finishes smooth with some lingering sweetness and spice.
