Wheat Whiskey — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed September 4, 2025Aroma: Tobacco, green chilli, brown sugar, vanilla, Drinks hot, finishes a little thin, mildy astringent, brown sugar, vanilla After sitting the aroma is sweeter, still drinks hot, mildly less astringent -
Vanilla, brown sugar, baking spice, tobacco, and a hint of apricot in the aroma. Mild alcohol heat on a deep inhale but not an overwhelming burn. Lively on the palate with some tingling spice mixed with some alcohol burn. Brown sugar is dominant with some vanilla and apricot, not really getting much tobacco. Pretty smooth, maybe mildly astringent or tanic. Fairly long finish with the vanilla and apricot lingering the longest. @AboutBeverages

Old Fitzgerald 7 Year Bottled in Bond Bourbon (Spring 2018)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed June 7, 2025 (edited June 10, 2025)Very nice nose, vanilla, caramel, tobacco, and a hint of oak, can take a deep breathe with no burn. Very smooth on the palate, mildly tanic first sip but that is less noticeable on subsequent sips. All the aroma notes come through but the tobacco and oak are more subtle. Lingering vanilla and caramel give a moderately long finish. There is a gentle warming on the way down. This is an excellent pour at this msrp. @aboutbeveragesTap & Bottle - North -
