George Dickel 13 Year Bottled in Bond Tennessee Whisky (Fall 2005)

This whiskey is slightly better than the 15 year old because it is less acidic / tart. Two years less in aging really helps it. I like both considerably but the 13 yo is smoother and just as flavorful. For the price, I’d recommend picking up a bottle. I think you’ll like it.

Nose- Peanuts, Orange Candy, cinnamon Palate- butterscotch, oak wood, smooth with Not much bite and oily finish

vanilla, slight char, low heat on nose/medium heat in the mouth, tropical fruit (think light pineapple), grain, bready taste
