Glen Garioch 12 Year

Apples and vanilla. Bitter pears takes over, almost overwhelming. Salty and dry. Water softens the palate and brings out some sweetness.

이건 8 tscl 후기 3.7 향 향은 상큼하고 올로로소 쉐리 같으면서도 포도 같은 향이 남 사과향 쪼금 나고 배향같은것도 난다. 쥬시후레쉬 껌같은향 맛 향에서는 꼬냑같았는데 맛은 또 위스키 같다 특징적인 느낌은 향보다 훨씬 덜했다. 달달하고 적당한 도수에 피니쉬가 길게 남지는 않았다. 뭔가뭔가 숙성감은 크게 느껴지진 않았다. (25년 이런거면 어쩌지 ㅎㅎ..) 그래도 위스키라고 느낀건 어딘가에서 느껴지는 몰티함 도수 높은데 느껴지지 않은건 신기하고 숙성감 안느껴졌다는것도 신기하네 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Nose - malty, dark sugar and stewed fruits Palette - light bodied, sweet and creamy, mild maltiness, toasted bread and sharp citrus Finish - light dryness and lingering sweetness, mild burn

Perhaps the cheapest single malt in Canada. Totally under the radar whiskey. Nose is fairly weak and light. Palette is full of sweetness and the usual suspects. Nice cereal note which I love. Finish is long and lingering. Very smooth scotch which is deceptively easy drinking. Definitely getting some smoke but it isn’t really listed as a profile. Hardly any burn at all. A tad water opens it up. Not a terribly complex dram but great value and a can’t lose scotch overall
