GlenAllachie 15 Year

Very smooth for the higher ABV. No burn. Great taste. Flaviar taster

So gooooood. Honey and dark chocolate. Would buy if I see it in stores again.

Nose: dark cherry, chocolate, leather Palate: cherry, sherry, vanilla, slight bitter (but nice) Finish: vanilla, coffee

Nose: HONEY, vanilla, pears Palate: more honey, apple...need my nose to not be so clogged Mouthfeel: full and oily, offsets the lighter flavors Great stuff!

Wtf was I thinking last time? It’s not a sherry bomb, sure. It’s a 15 yr. But it has everything glendronach 18 has sans some of the richness and the heavy balsamic notes. Spectacular dram. Want to compare it to glendronach 15 and glenmorangie lasanta, 2 other excellent expressions.

Nice rich raisin on the palate but too much typical Speyside burn in the oesophagus
