Glendalough Double Barrel Single Grain

quite simply didn't get it. tried it at a tasting. had none of the attractions of an irish whisky for me, with a short and abrupt profile and a thin feel. grain with no notes. sure - it was booze. even "in-style" - i don't get it.

Honey in color in the glass. Honey, spiced baked Apple, and finishes with a touch of sherry. Baking spices, honey, and warm apple pie. Has some heat on the finish. A hearty style of Irish whiskey.
