Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength

Tried very hard to like this whisky, the nose was pleasant with sherry and spice but the burn was just too much on the tongue. Adding water lessened the burn but did not enhance the flavours at the end of the day just not a whisky for me.

Drys on the tongue and warms much like a brandy which is something I’ve never found in a whisky. Sherry strength is spicy on the tongue due to cask strength.
