Reviewed December 23, 2021Something’s off with this 21 year old. I want so badly to like it but there’s something bothering me with it. Been trying out a few shots of this bottle over a few months. It is not bad. Typical speyside oaky dram. A bit on the salty side. Seems to taste better with ice. I guess i expected more from a 20+ year old whiskey. Lots more younger whiskeys works better for me. -

Reviewed December 21, 2021 (edited March 6, 2022)Initially, I got the aroma of banana pudding, but that was followed by that of strong gingerbread spices. The flavor is spicy, but only moderately sweet. Mint in the finish. 3 cl sample from The Premium Whisky Advent Calendar (2020 Edition).
