Glenfiddich 15 Year Solera Reserve

The nose is floral and honey-like. The taste delivers what the nose promises. The finish however is lacking... The ethanol is not straightforward, but it is bitting... P. S. Much better than the 12 year-old!

(Straight) Sweet apple vanilla pie and then woodsy grain alcohol. Very soft burn on the end. Not complex, but delish.

Quite nice and soft whisky. On the nose vanilla, toffee, apple, plenty of spice, and nice camp fire smoke. Palate is soft and rounded, still vanilla, toffee, smoke, and a hint of apricot. There is also spice and a pinch of salt perhaps. Long and spicy aftertaste. Good value for money

Fruity with a hint of vanilla. Some pepper on finish. Complex.
