Glenfiddich Fire & Cane

Nice combo of smoky with sweet finish Updating to 4.5 stars. The more I drink it the more I like it.

Smoke at first. Campfire, but then more like burnt sugar or marshmallows. Lots of cinnamon. Some glenfiddich fruit way under - apples and pears. Brown sugar. Really pretty interesting and complex. Taste is less so. Sweet and less smokey. Quick finish and a little bitterness. An interesting experiment. Timmy recommended. Probably wouldn’t buy again. But it does grow on me.

Peaty and heavy. Good and a nice sipping whisky

For the price this is an excellent blend of light smokiness with the standard glen experience. I don’t get much if any of the rum sweetness. I would say it honestly tastes like a lightly peated version of a 12-15 year old glen. I’m a fan of glenfiddich so I liked it. If your a fan you probably won’t be disappointed!
