Glenfiddich 14 Year Rich Oak

Smooth, not too peety for a scotch.

Havent had a glenfiddich in years but this was bought for me as a gift and I have to say it surprised me quite a bit! Lovely sweet oak nose. Taste has lots of honey and bourbon and the finish has juicy red apple. No harshness at all, perfect for the patio on a summer day.

Has all the character of a Glenfiddich but with more citrus flavors. Some bitterness in the short finish. Overall a pleasant and light whisky but not worth the money. I would choose the 12 year old over this any day for that one has more depth and a longer finish.
