Reviewed March 9, 2022 (edited August 1, 2022)NOSE Waxy vanilla, nutty malt, graham, cocoa, baking spice and a touch of bubblegum and raisins. Not very deep, but what’s there is warm and inviting. PALATE Cognac, cinnamon-heavy baking spice, malty graham, nuts, cocoa, raisiny fruit and a touch of bubblegum. Richer than the aroma, but feels rather dead mid-palate, like it’s missing something. FINISH Medium -> Raisiny fruit and graham fade to baking spice. -

Reviewed October 26, 2021 (edited February 22, 2022)It’s a rich, dense [slightly undercooked] brownie with caramel ribbons through it. Warm malt and spice meets the dessert on the midpalate. The finish is oily and decadent. It gets creamier and more complex with a few drops of water. Think of mocha, malt, tiramisu, oak, fig. -

Reviewed October 23, 2021 (edited February 27, 2022)(Good Spirits Co. Glasgow – Virtual Whisky Tasting, 17 September 2021). Nose: Fruit, apple, green/earthy, fresh, light spice Palate: Orange/citrus, sweet, salted caramel, caramelised fruit, light baking spices (cloves) Finish: Medium long finish. Sweet, oaky, spicy, citrus/orange oil Nice buttery/oily mouthfeel. This tastes like a slightly darker version of the Original 10y/o. Very easy to drink and very flavourful. Nice! Came joint second out of the six drams, with 14% (3 votes) of the final vote for favourite of the night. 67% (14 votes) of those present said they enjoyed the whiskey. I liked this enough to buy a bottle after the tasting.75.0 GBP per BottleThe Good Spirits Co.
