Reviewed December 16, 2022Glenmorangie expressions can be very hit or miss for me, so I was pleasantly surprised with the high batting average at a mega-tasting last night of something like 16 different bottles. This one was very easy to like, brimming with the distillery’s characteristic orange notes. The nose yields butterscotch and orange from the interplay of the bourbon and sherry casks. The palate is orange water, a delicate honey and a light pecan nuttiness. The finish is surprisingly long, with flavors of crisp toast and Jaffa cake topping. This is one Lighthouse that you do want to steer towards. -

Reviewed September 28, 2022Nice easy sipper, nothing outstanding. Wouldn't necessarily buy a bottle but would order a dram. -
