Tasting Notes
"The whisky starts sweet, flowing out of the glass with a surprisingly spring in its step that highlights the Manzanilla casking. A citric zest follows, with lightly buttered nuts moving surrounded by honey and spices. Sultanas join the mix, lightly roasted and caramelized, but in all the whisky is light and sprightly. On the palate the citric zest really appears, with the spices coming out of their hiding places while caramel moves beneath and brine echoing in the back ground. The finish is medium, falling off after a mix of spice and salt bringing the dram to a close."
