Tasting Notes
"The aroma is intense with oxidized sherry and an almost smoky/ashy scent. There are dried fruits here as well like figs. It's full and a bit oily on the palate with a nutty malt flavor at the core. Once again oloroso sherry flavors are present with a fruitcake experience (raisins, figs, orange peel, apricots) and a tangy sweet finish. Moderate length to finish. The sherry-seasoned casks are on full display, but it's more of a duet with the malted barley and not a solo performance. "
