Notes of molasses, espresso, baking spices, subtle prune, and roasted almond on the nose. Palate shows more baking spices, espresso, and almond, along with cola and vanilla. Very rich, full-bodied mouthfeel. Finish is short-medium in length, and quite smooth.

So you need a dark rum for cocktails... A bit of a weird one to sip on, but excellent at it's job as a mixer. Punchy molasses. Maybe not burnt toast, but heavily-browned Maillard reaction flavors.
