All Papagayo spirits are Certified Organic and that includes the spices used in their spiced rum: vanilla, ginger, chili, and caramel.

"There's a mild red chili aroma coming through on the nose along with some caramel and vanilla. The rum is very much medium bodied and is very lightly spiced. All flavors are quite subtle, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The lightly toasted vanilla, nutmeg, and clove flavors are complementary to the light and zesty base rum. Probably not the best choice for a rum and Coke, but would do fine in any application in which a gold rum is appropriate."
