Goslings Black Seal Rum

Not as rich as something like Lemon-Hart, but this will do when you want something that is budget-friendly. OK for cocktails where you don't care that it darkens the color of the other ingredients. You should be able to find this anywhere.

Brown sugar, molasses, caramel. Gives me heartburn though

Good on the rocks.

This one here is what got me into rum. It's chewy, robust, heady, spicy, with mocha and allspice notes mixed into a swirl of dark toffee. Not that sweet. An excellent mixer as well.
