Reviewed January 5, 2024Feels like scotch in training, oddly young and missing the sweet maltiness. On the nose, you expect something other than what shows up on the pallete. Hit it with a shard of ice and it immediately freaks out… then raisin emeges, then tannin, followed by industrial solvent. -

Reviewed August 1, 2023 (edited January 5, 2024)Not overly complex, but very drinkable and enjoyable. Honey and malted barley. A little oak. I don't see anything about a sherry finish, but I'd swear there's some sherry in it. Raisins. -

Reviewed July 2, 2023 (edited July 19, 2023)Was recommended this at Total Wine as a “transition” into Scotches… smell is not as peaty as other scotches I have tried and smells a lot like apple juice. Taste is not bad, but so terribly plain (I am used to big bold bourbons). I would not make the leap from bourbon for this scotchTotal Wine & More -

Reviewed June 22, 2023Very fruity nose, also floral with distinct orange and barley notes. Mild on the palate, with flavors of orange, vanilla, and light spice. Smooth, fruity finish.
