Grangestone 21 Year

A rich Single Malt Scotch sourced from Highlands, Scotland; made with a blend of rare casks; initially aged in ex-bourbon casks before being finished in exotic casks for a minimum of 21 years & bottled at 80 proof. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grain, fruit, nuts, wood & spices; while rich & full life adds notes of ginger, spicy toffee, orange, cinnamon, clove, honey, vanilla & oak; that led to a long & balanced death. First semi-expensive scotch I have had. My wife and I liked it, but cannot remember how it was anymore.

Sweet flavor. Vanilla notes for sure. Not a lingering flavor, especially for a 21 year
